As much as I liked that 4003 white/BT (it looked and played fantastic) I couldn't justify keeping it when I realized that Paul W. could duplicate that color on what I really wanted to play, a five string 4004. That bass got me $1899 from the ebay auction which was enough to buy the 4004 and pay for the work, scheduled for later this year.

Here's my eggplantglo from the early 73 run.
I held an actual eggplant up to it one time and it was very close.
