No Aitch, it came in a gig bag, double boxed. So I'm still looking for a hard case... Silver or black (leather). Even if the modern SKB cases are supposed to be better, I don't like them very much... It's just me....

"PS: JPS - That bass looks gorgeous"

Thanks, even though it looks like it was just run over by a steam roller.

How's this?

I checked that case out last week here in Los Angeles.
It was advertised on Craigslist.
I was hoping my 360/12V64 would fit.
The guitar sat in the case just fine, but when I tried to close the lid there was too much padding inside for it to close properly. It may have worked if I removed the bridge cover, but I decided to pass.
It is super clean though. When I arrived the seller removed it from what looked like the original plastic bag.
Hope it works out for you Lars.

Minutes ago I came home with an FG 360/12 WB that was manufactured in March of '78.

I had only gone to look at it, and planned for my next Rick to be a 650 but.....doah...another hit to the bank account.

The case should fit just fine. A 360, 330, and 360WB are all very close to the same thickness; the tight closure could be because the foam has stiffened (unlikely) or it could be that the case is unused and has not had a guitar in it to "help" the foam to conform. Better a slightly tight-fitting case than a loose one, as we all know!

Glenn, you will not regret it.

It is in a completely different league from a 650 and is a fabulous 12er.

Paul, you're probably right.
With the guitar in the case and the lid closed, but not latched, there was about a 1/2" gap.
When latched there appeared to be a bulge in the lid at the point where the bridge is.
The case appeared to be unused so hopefully it will conform to Lars' guitar.
