Wow, they just get smaller and smaller...
Here is where I hide my music:

This guy gives good reviews:

The review sounds good, however I'm also looking at some others which may have better features (one weakness of the H4 is the difficulty in monitoring gain levels when recording).
This one looks promising, especially if you are going to use external mics:
M-Audio MicroTrack 24/96

To me, the Marantz PMD660 looks like it might have better features:

Although it's a bit heavier (1.1 lbs vs 6.7 ounces for the H4) I doubt that is a real issue unless your name is James Bond.
And there is the Edirol R-09:

The H4 is definitely good. A friend as one and we both recorded my band live at the same time... he with the H4 and me with my big heavy carotoid mics --> mixer --> cd burner. When uploaded to my computer I really couldn't tell the difference in quality.
I'll be buying one of these for sure and I hope there will be some lively discussion her on the pros and cons.

the basic Marantz PMD660 gets some negative reviews but this one is specifically modded for live music recording.... no internal mics... you must use your own, and its more $$$, and its bigger/heavier. However, all that aside, I suspect that this would capture higher quality live concerts than the Zoom.
