That should be an XO s/n like mine, don't sell the cover, I was glad I didn't when I sold mine.

I've said it before and i'll say it again. Burgundy should be one of RIC's core finishes!

That burgundy looks great on the 650C with the chrome appointments. I was never crazy about the chrome pickguard on the 650D, but is really classy with that color!

One of my basses in 1995/6 was a early 4003, transition period. I ordered a customized chromed bridge PU surround. I bought the bass on harmony central from somebody in SD/CA and a colleague brought it to me to Singapore. When I moved back to Germany I sold it as we had our first baby, I was unemployed and we needed some cash. I don't regret selling it as it was quite a baseball bat and the heaviest I had, so far. Also the neck never really was straight, as the finger bord had a massive "branch eye" (can't be called birds eye as it was just thick and dark)at the 5th fret, that obstructed the action of the truss rods somehow. However the bass was in excellent condition.

Hold your horses, Gareth. We'll do Azureglo later. We can't be blue all the time!
