Congrats, Paul. As a recipient of Paul's excellent work (well, I did pay him), I can certainly attest to his abilities and expertise in things Rickenbacker. I hope to assign another project to him someday -- if he ever gets the time!

Kris, he actually had TWO names, not counting the one his nephews gave him. One of them was "Scat".

Surely you remember secret agent F. Frederick Skitty?

Congrats on surpassing the 10K mark!

And many appreciative thanx for sharing all of that wonderful experience and knowledge!

That's way too many posts Paul. I think you did quit your day job in order to post that often. Image Just wait until after my bass and Michael's guitar are completed before you triple the prices!!

Rock on buddy!

Paul, he actually had THREE names. His first two names were "Fat Freddy Scat" and "F. Fredrick Skitty". Don't you remember the third one? His three "nephews" refer to him as "Uncle F."

10 000 must be a record here, or am i wrong? I've never seen anyone here with post count over 10 000. I thought, after 9999, the count would be "zeroed" and one would become a new member again. That'd be cool, to see "post #0".
Um, anyway. 10 000 sounds cool. But waaay too many. Image

Congrats on the milestone, Paul, we appreciate each of those posts, even if you're scolding us for our misuse of the language or capitalization.

And Lars (or anyone else for that matter), don't let anything get in the way of your joining in discussions, we can usually get the gist of people's meanings no matter what their level of proficiency in our language.

Most folks in North America don't even know a second language (or sometimes the proper use of one language), so you're way ahead of most of us.

That's what this forum is about: sharing our knowledge.

Paul, it's not the number that amazes me as much as the substance. Thanks again for sharing a lot of true wisdom, and for the most entertaining way you don't suffer fools.

Congrats, Paul. I can only +1 to everything that's already been said. Thanks again ever so much for looking after me in SF and environs and getting me to the 75th and back in one piece!! Image
