Vox AD50

Any opinions on these little amps? They appear to be very well-received on internet reviews.

Does anyone have one?

I've got an AD120VT, and I love it. Nice to have all the effects built in.

I have an AD120VTH and 2 AD212 bottoms. It is my main girl and I love it. I have tried an AD30 and the tone was great. Not quite as nice as the stack, and I definitely would not play out with it. It would be a great practice amp. I'm not sure about the AD50 at all.

Mark -- I got one of those AD50VT models a few months back and I'm loving it. It's a good size and output for the price. So many features to keep tweaking and testing how it sounds....

Check out the thread I started back around November, when investigating to get one of these amps, under this Charilie's Tube Tech heading... the thread is titled "Vox Valvetronix Amps" and there are a couple of good Vox links posted there by Kris towards the end of the thread. Many Forumites spoke favorably about the several types of Valvetronix amps they have.

Thanks, Rich. I'm buying. And I'm selling my nice '75 Vibro Champ.

As much as I like that little gem, I want candy.
