Thanks to a friend, I was able to procure 6th row center tickets to a Flowers in the Dirt tour show in LA in '89. Ritter was sitting right in front of me. Suzanne Somers was no where in sight, though.

Ritter was a huge Beatles fan. Sometimes you would catch a glimpse of a Beatles poster on the wall of his bedroom on the Threes Company TV show.

Very cool Gary, thanks for posting that. Makes you feel sad and good at the same time. Life is very short as Lennon would say. So let's make the most of it!

I always liked that guy, now I know why. I guess it was also because of his talent for physical comedy, ala Charlie Chaplin.
