Going Fretless
While picking the lint out of my belly button waiting for the 4004 to arrive, I saw a Ric that had the frets pulled and filled with ebony.
That sounds very cool! Although I like the looks of maple fretboards, but have never seen a fretless with a maple fretboard?
And, now on to the controversial part. I prefer lines on the neck. My Pentabuzz had them, and I loved them. I would play an upright if it had lines! I suppose you could say it is a defense mechanism, because I don't have the sharpest ear. My response is, I can see faster than I can hear, so why not use it?
Flame on! {:^)

Yeah, going fretless...
But going lineless is a bigger rush than paintball!
(It's just a joke, Charly...I agree with J. Gary: whatever gets you on the field. Or onto the beer-soaked red-shag-carpeted one-foot-high stage, or whatever else might apply...)

I didn't get where I am today by being on time...

I can't wait for my fretless to arrive. I'm REALLY happy RIC went back to the old style fret dot markers.
I just love the look of a SMOOTH neck.
Check out this one...Beautiful flame in the body too. I wonder if RIC does things like this to say THANK YOU for waiting for your order! Hey, I can dream, can't I?

"Freedom of expression is important, but I have learned that people want to know how much you care before they care how much you know."

Is that Captain Kirk or Tim Allen?
Hey, Post #1970! I had a 1970 Formula 400 way back when. Mmmmmmmm, Formula 400. Huge, deep, loping rumbling idle. Always started. Even the time I accidentally put the distributer cap on 180 degrees off. It just ran really rough.
What a rocketship.
What were we talking about?

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, and sit in with the band whenever you can, to keep your chops up!
