I see! B for Beatles!

B was for Beatles, and V was for vintage. But John Hall seems to want to be secretive about what C stands for. Circa, classic, custom, and clone were already guessed and were wrong.

Seems to me, if JH has desired to keep what the 'C' stands for a secret to this point, it stands to reason, if it had been correctly guessed, he wouldn't have said, "Yeah, that's it."

Re: "C" -- just read in the Bacon/Day book that the Capri series was named after the Hall family cat. So "C" could be anything.

Also from the Bacon/Day book: Frank C. Hall's middle name was Cary, and his wife's middle name was Catherine. Lots of C's to be "C"ryptic with!

My middle name is Cary as well but that's not it. As I've said before, Circa or Collector would probably be fine Choices.

There was a bass named after another of my cats, by the way.
