something tells me, at least a couple people think the bass is included (note the posted question and response).

The auction seems pretty straightforward so the bidders are the one's to be questioned as to their intelligence!

The posted response is vague and makes it sound like the bass is included. He answers the question about the bass serial number in the case auction. The bass is a separate auction.

Watch for this one to go back up soon.

"Thanks for looking at my auctions. You are bidding on a Rickenbacker 4003 Bass Guitar Hardshell Case. Great shape.See my other auctions for a 1981 Ric 4003 . Bid and win both and just pay for the shipping of the case."

He does state the bass is a separate auction.

Yes, Jeff, and I agree that the bidders should be reading the ad text, but the wording in the title
Rickenbacker 4003 Bass Guitar Hardshell Case NICE
would be unambiguous if reworded as
Hardshell Case for Rickenbacker 4003 Bass Guitar NICE

This is the stuff that keeps the courts full. I hope the winner picks up his prize in person.

The seller should have included somewhere in the ad that the auction is for a case only. There are people in some places around the world will pay quite a bit of money for a RIC case.

The ad Title should have read:
"Hardshell Case for Rickenbacker 4003 Bass Guitar NICE" as Gary stated.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

Well, it's down to $270 and dropping. Only about three times what it's worth.

A bidder just asked if he could withdraw because he thought it was for the bass as well. When I looked at the ad quickly I too though it was for both. It looked to me that he had a second bass for sale. He said he would block that bidder from all his auctions. He should be so kind as to block all of us as well.

It's up to $526. Bidders should read the Q&A. At least it is stated there. There will be some angry people in about an hour.

It pees me off when people part guitars/basses from their cases!

He has got some nerve to rant about the confusion toward his ad.

Wish he lived close. Love to pick up my $500 case in person.
I'm just happy to be here.
