20 years from now some of the blue boys may be mistaken for sea green ...

The Sea Green and Blue Boy share the same clear coat and will continue to age in parallel. No one will make that mistake.

Minty green is a great color for most Ricks, IMO, whether a product of the varnish being yellowed, or a color on its own.

I once bought a Madonna CD. I'm not a big fan, never played it, but I loved the color of the case--a very light pastel aqua. Sexy as hell...

I like the Minty green color too... I wouldn't mind seeing a color offering like that!

The Madonna CD case is about midway between those, Steve.

I like the mintglo shade on your 4003 quite a lot John. It also seems to have the more vintage looking headstock. I was wondering why you changed out the vintage keys for the Schaller M4's?

Ahh...I suppose it would have helped to actually READ your post. I wondered why a 4003 of that year would have a vintage headstock.

Ah--reminds me of a certain song recorded by Janis Joplin shortly before she died.
