Elys, you would be mad to change that wonderful original full of mojo FG. An original FG 60's Rickenbacker bass is not to be messed with...

Thanks for the compliments, guys. I won't get rid of this one (or the '79 for that matter) for anything. I plan to ADD to the collection. I haven't told my Dad about it. I think I'll surprise him and show up at my parents' house with it. Here's a photo of my Dad and my '79 at a family reunion. He was up jamming with my uncles.

That's wierd. I've just been contemplating exactly the same refinish (I love Peacock Blue Pedullas).

Javier...In June of 1973 I was working at the Rickenbacker Factory, so if you find one, I had a part in building it.
