Congrats on the 4004 Charly!! Where are the pics?!?

It seems that currently, RIC is putting the finish on the 4004L fingerboards and not on the 4004Cii fingerboards.

I'm home from work and getting the camera out right after I try it with the Nemisis but with the 8x10 cab. I think there is a blown speaker in the Nemesis. It also seems to have an issue with the pad. Those HB's seem more aggressive than some active circuits I have owned!

Well, the Nemesis doesn't drive the 8x10 as I thought it would. I did dial it in as best I could, no blown speaker, but you really have to crank up the bass knob to get out of the CS, GL grind!

I am putting on the chromes and leaving the controls so I KNOW the difference!

Chromes will give you more of a change, Charly. Use the 2 Pro!!! And congrats and post pics!! Oh, there was earlier speculation on the wood graining; how is it?

one of the cii basses I worked on had a coat of conversion varnish that was scuffed so it looked unfinished ...

Nice looking RIC! I had been thinking about trading my Hofner Cavern lefty reissue to Chris towards that one but I didnt have the extra $$ that would have made up the difference from what he would give me on the Hofner and what he wanted on the RIC. I've never played a 4004 but I would like to get one sometime soon and see how they compare to other RICs that I've had. Enjoy the new toy!

It looks really nice, Charly. I knew there had to be more figuring in the wood than the pics on the POTR site showed.
