Is that checkerboard, Mark, or an indication of two suggested places to park one's derriere?

Hey Mark, you can't put celluloid checkerboard on a leather chair! It will just delaminate, glued sideways in two loops on the seat cushion. You should do like me, use the router on your plain old red oak commode lid and glue it there! Also around the edge of the seat! OK, too much information, right? Alright, how 'bout this: get the router out on your nice dining room table, glue it up, and then edge bind it overall with a really long piece of good vinyl white to "Rickify" the old dining room? Do the same to the edges of those nice PA B&C Chippendale chairs too!

Cherry china hutch, sidetable, and buffet are next (while the wife is away for a weekend that is Image Image )
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, and sit in with the band whenever you can, to keep your chops up!

On the big stuff it's easier to paint...

It's checkerboard binding, not a butt marker. I can't get the other pics I took sized small enough.

One of these days I will learn how to use my toys...
