Genesis tabs or sheet music
Anyone know where I could get some bass sheet music or tabs (preferably sheet music) of classic Gabriel era songs? Free or not, doesn't matter either way.
Thanks,
Luke

I have quite a few Genesis tabs . . . everything off of Nursery Cryme all the way to Wind & Wuthering . . . and yes, that includes the ENTIRETY of "Lamb". I have to futz with them a bit, because they're not *completely* accurate (well, not all of them), but for the most part, they're great.
However, all of them are either in PowerTab Editor format (GET THIS PROGRAM, IT'S FREE AND EASY TO USE), or GuitarPro format, which costs money to get. I believe any of these can be imported into Finale and Sibelius if you have those, but I'm not sure. Email me with the tabs you want, and I'll see what I can do!
Oh, also, I just noticed you asked for sheet music . . . PowerTabs and GuitarPro notation are all in this combined tab & staff format, where there are two lines, one of tab and one of staff, lined up together. It's a really cool way of reading music, if not the best for improving one's sight-reading skills . . . but it's basically sheet music with tab stuck on underneath it.

You have to open it with the PowerTab Editor. That's a free program that you get here: http://www.power-tab.net/guitar.php
This thing will open any .ptb files, and allow you to make your own. It has limitations (only two "tracks", only allows 7 voices per piece, only allows 3 staves per line), but considering it's free and incredibly user-friendly, it's worth having.
Like I said, if anyone needs PowerTab or GuitarPro format stuff, I can send it to you. I can also convert them to just staff format, but it'll be in NoteWorthy Composer format, which can only be opened with NoteWorthy Composer, Finale, and Sibelius. I don't have the money to pay Adobe to convert everything to .pdf format.

Okay, just me here with an update . . .
I have "The Cinema Show" entirely done, EXCEPT for Steve Hackett's little electric fills, which I can't add because there are too many tracks at the point where they come in. I'm going to shuffle stuff around and see if I can't get them in there too. If not, I'll make a separate file with those guitar bits on it. Anyway:
*Cinema Show - missing Hackett's electric guitar fills, Gabriel's flute solo (but I have these two tabbed out separately), and I'm not 100% sure about that little three-guitar break before the lyrics come in. I'm gonna compare it again and see if it's right.
*Aisle of Plenty - completely done . . . there's no bass in this . . . just two guitars, keys, and voice (I didn't tab out the voice)
*Can-Utility & the Coastliners - I actually didn't have to tab this myself . . . someone had a PERFECT tab of it up already that I found
*Watcher of the Skies - same as above
*Firth of Fifth - working on cleaning up the bassline and guitar lines . . .
*Dancing With the Moonlit Knight - same as "Firth of Fifth"
*After the Ordeal - same as above
*Battle of Epping Forest, I Know What I Like, More Fool Me, Supper's Ready, Return of the Giant Hogweed, and Fountain of Salmacis - pending . . . Supper's Ready will be difficult for me to do in PowerTab editor, as there are like 30-some tracks or so . . . I shall do my best, but I'll have to cut corners, like combining Bass Pedals and Bass, and so on.
Also, it may take a bit longer than I anticipated . . . would people like me to just send tabs as I finish them? Or wait until I'm all done?
