660 vs 650c neck

Post by clearblue »

These two models have the same neck width at the nut and the 660 is slightly narrower at the 12th fret. The radius is the same on both. Does the 650c neck feel pretty much the same as the 660 neck other than the fact that the fingerboard is maple on the 650c? The 660 neck actually feels more comfortable to me than the models with the narrower neck. I had been wondering how the 650c compared to the 660.

The 650 series has jumbo frets. The string spacing is wider at the bridge due to the width of the neck at higher registers.

The 650 also isn't varnished like the 660 - it's oil finished.

The 650C has varnish. Another difference is that the 660 has 21 frets and the 650 has 24.
