New guy flashing his ID

Post by jimb »

Hi fellers.
I joined yesterday and I'm hoping to get to the Rick Fest in April. Here's a pic of my '77 4001.

Image
She has changed tuners and a '76 or '77 replacement PU in the treble position to replace the Jazz PU that was there when I bought her.
The mutes are melted. Pretty lightweight, usually wears extra light Rotos (Funkmasters).
Been using her to play Wolfmother lately.
Nice forum. I feel welcome already

Hi Jim, and everybody else, I'm new here too. This is my 74' Fireglo. It's currently being brought back to original, as my cash flow allows, This is pretty much how it was when I bought it around 1985. I've heard a lot about this forum from the guys over on the Ric.com forum and look forward to talking with you guys.

Welcome Bob, good to see you over here also. Image

From that picture, I'd say the first thing it needs is a white pickguard from Tony at Pickguardian:

Hi Bob and Jim, it's great that you served up some nice photo's of your girls.

I never get tired of looking at cool old Ricks.

Good eye Jared!

Hi Bob,
Nice Fireglo, I agree with Joey, get her a nice white pickgaurd to show off her Fireglo to its best.

Welcome to the Forum.

JimB, that's some nice looking Maple, would be stunning as Fireglo .... !!!

My feelings exactly, WELCOME!
