just out of interest,what is this on the back of a 450 combo, is it just a serial plate? Image

Actually, it for use with a saxophone strap.
No, I don't play the sax.

Good shot of Cloverfield Green. Very close to Fender Sherwood Green.

The earliest ones were. Many of the '57s, '58s, etc...just had metal ring, no sax hook. Go figure.

I thought you just hooked the strap onto that ring... Seems to work!
