For Jerry: Think about a 380 Laguna. It has the body width of a 360 and a wider neck ala a 650. I have one on order and can't wait till it arrives. Another under-rated RIC!

Jwilli,
I'd love one. I heard a sound clip and it sounded closer to an accoustic than any electric i've heard. What's the wait time on those?

As for the annual colors, I just received my MB 360 and hey gang, it is absolutely gorgeous and as typical from the factory, a perfect setup..... Funny thing though, I was late in ordering this 360 from from my dealer and was notified by the factory it would probably be a 6 month wait, HOWEVER... I had to order some spare parts, when the guy (won't mention names here) asked if there was something else I needed I stated, YEA, get my 360 MB to me,( I was asked who the dealer was & apparently they checked to see if I had been a RIC buyer in the past.... (yea, since 63 & have one of the first seven roundface 360s) by damn, 2 weeks later my dealer calls & said pick it up..... They really are beautiful, and I think the MB appeals more to the traditional "OLD FOLKS" that were partial to the old sunburst colors.......will post pic soon..
Hummmmmmmmmm,Gotta think about that one... OK, I'm done.....

Jerry: With regard to posting photos, just make sure they are 36K (exact) or less and they are no more than 500 by 500 pixels in size. This is to allow for a reasonable download time and to keep the format easier to read and display on browsers.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Hey John - our customer service department doesn't really have any influence over production, you just had good timing! ;)

Interesting thread at Voxtalks. Look at that blue one!
Let's have it permanently linked for future study.

Hey Kenny,
I can appreciate your comment, but give me the fantasy of believing it........ It is really almost too coincidental.......actually I was out on the desert floor in Utah when the cell phone rang, the 1 hour flight back over the hill to Sacramento & the drive over to San Jose seemed like forever (even we 55+ kids like new toys)

Oh my.... That has to be the most beautiful 381 in the world. Paul, do you think you can post that photo over here on this forum? You know how I feel about "blueburst!" Here I thought the only guitar in that color belonged to MCC.... That is just incredible-looking. I think that should be an upcoming color of the year....if it ever is, I will buy one! Wow!

BTW, Paul, if you put that trasparent blue finish on a more highly figured 381, it would be something very close to your "oceanglo!" It would be gorgeous on any Ric model, guitar or bass! I need to go look again, LOL!

Apparently the owner of this Shaded Blue 381 ordered 3! The father, who owned a music store, ordered the 381, a 360 and another model. The brother still owns the 360 too!

Hey Kenny, how about having a word with the powers that be at Ric, to see if the Ric buying public can vote for next years limited colour, OK limit it to a choice of 4 or 5, Blueburst, Greenglo, Azureglo, etc... Could cause a lot of interest. Bet Melissa has her vote for blueburst ready now!!
