Twin 1996's Have Arrived!

Post by dlandau »

I just got delivery of the second of the twins. They are one away from consecutive serial numbers. Not identical!

I think I just had a minor accident here....

Wow...congrats!!! "Two, Two, Two times the fun!!"

Is is the photo or is there more of a distinction from yellow to red in the one on the left? (that one looks very similar to mine BTW). They both look great--I found it very hard to photograph this color--I think you've done quite well.

I guess I don't understand why you would have two, but, for what it's worth, I like the one on the right.

Don, they look great!

I just took delivery of 06 28216 myself. Is that close to yours?

Thank you all for your comments.
Bill, you are right there is more distinction between the colors on the one on the left. The one on the right maintains the reddish color over the whole top.
Kevin, mine are 205 and 207.
Why two? Well, they are my only purchases this year. They are not made anymore and I could not decide which one I liked best plus I got a good deal.
John, I know you saw both.

Hey Don....mine is a 207 also ...29207.

Mine looks closer to your one on the left in the pics.

It's a small RIC world after all.

Don - i've been to the shop three or four times in the past 2 weeks and have not seen any 1996's, just that Jetglo 4001c64. I saw a 1996 there about a month ago that was most definitley yours.

Hi Charles
I should have specified they are 28207,28205.

John
That was one. The other was put away already but they were there together at one time.
