Anyone use acoustic bass heads? model 360 inquiry

Steve,
I saw your comments about the twin pickup configuration.

At one time in my younger days I ran my Ric-O-Sound into two 200w Orange tube amps, one for the neck, and one for the bridge, the bridge amp feed a pair of Orange 4x12's and he neck amp fed a pair of Marshall 4x15's !! these were stacked 4x12 on a 4x15 awesome

I used to have the Acoustic 301 cabinet with a Cerwyn Vega 18" speaker ... then I ran a crossover into a 1x15 cab for high end response and a bass head on top ... it was 7 feet tall and kicked butt ...

Yep, I use an Acoustic 360 bass amp with the reversed 18 inch speaker...bassiest amp I've ever played through....gotta love it!!

On a side note, when I saw Led Zepplin back in the early 70's JPJ had 4 of these things on stage !!

When I saw Humble Pie in '71, Greg Ridley had four 360/361s, two on either side of Jerry Shirley's drum riser, with three full Marshall stacks on either side of those (six total), for Steve Marriot and Peter Frampton!

Kenny Aaronson also used these amps with the band Dust. I took this picture off of their second (and last) LP "Hard Attack". I had one of these beasts for nearly 10 years but sold it last year. It just stayed in my practice room and the guy I sold it to uses it onstage with his other one!

Aaronson had a fantastic sound on that Dust LP and that bass solo on "Suicide" is fabulous.
I read somewhere that he played a 4001 in stereo through the same Acoustics when he played in The Shoes. Any pics from that era?

I got 3 Glass Harp cd's from a guy at work a couple of moths ago. I kinda like working at a record company! My quarterly free cd order (we get to order 5 per quarter, Anth is 2)just came in. Ten Years After - The Anthology 1967-1971, Ten Years After - Alvin Lee and Company, The Beatles with Tony Sheridan, and Blind Faith remastered! A nice CHEAP (free) way of expanding the library a bit!
