I'm still an idiot. I like "Don't Let it Bring You Down".

Jerry, "Biker Like an Icon" was from Off the Ground. 1993.

Dave, are you saying you didn't like anything off of Tug of War? I can't believe that.

"I'm Carrying" and "Girlfriend" from London Town. Wild Life has some pretty under-rated tunes, too, like "Dear Friend" and "Tomorrow".

Man, these are all great, and obscure to the general population. I have to say my favorite albums are
Wildlife
McCartney
Ram
Thanks for all the cool responses

"flying to my home" the b-side to "my brave face".

It's a rocking song that would have made 'Flowers in the Dirt' much much better.

In fact it is one of my fave macca tunes, big harmonies at the front and then a super grindy hamond organ. Rock!

"I'm Carrying" is one of my favourite McCartney songs. So beautifully understated with that rare gift he has for capturing such a simple emotion effectively. I've always thought this is one of those songs that seems so direct and easy that anybody could have written it - but, of course that's just not true. And, I should say, I'm not that big of a a McCartney fan.

For obscure McCartney tunes how about "Picasso's Last Words?"

There is a great story behind that song. Dustin Hoffman and Mac were having a discussion about song writing and Hoffman asked him to write a song now. Using a copy of Time(I Think) with a cover story on Picasso's last hours, Paul wrote the tune on the spot. Pretty cool, huh?

How does it fit with Richard Cory though? I could never figure out why he paired those two tunes.

I'm Carrying is indeed an underrated gem, one of the greats.

"Flying To My Home", "Daytime Nightime Suffering" - both great. Has anyone heard Paul's demo of "Goodbye", the Mary Hopkins track? Should have been on the White Album - Fantastic...
