Genesis tabs or sheet music

For me, as you get them would be fine. If you did that with all who requested, then you'd have an easier handle on who had what, short of waiting till it was all done and sending it all out at once to all who requested. Only viable options I see.

Update: "I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe)" is done. I couldn't write up the ambient noise/synth sounds at the beginning or end, so I just marked that they were there and put rests.

Also, I was unsure, near the very end, when Tony Banks and Peter Gabriel are trading synth and flute fills, which one was which, and when, and so on, so I just left those out. I figure that anyone playing the song will be able to improv the fills or whatever, so I hope it's not a big deal.

Next, gonna clean up "Firth of Fifth" and tab out "Dancing With the Moonlit Knight".

Try "CutePDF" if you're on Windoz. It's free, and works with Finale... hopefully will work with your other programs.
I send all my music to my publisher in PDF format, using this program.

If anyone's wondering why I haven't sent out any tabs recently, I'm sorry. My laptop motherboard melted, and as such, I am without 24-hour computer access. I backed up all my stuff, luckily, but I can't really tab stuff out until I get my own computer (or a new one) back. Sorry. Tabbing will resume as soon as possible . . .

Bobcat, what brand/model notebook died?

It's an HP Pavilion dv4170us . . . the computer itself has been good, software-wise, but the hardware has given me nothing but trouble . . . also, Best Buy/Geek Squad and Hewlett-Packard themselves have been difficult at best, rude, atrociously dishonest, obstructive, and inefficient in reality. I could write several pages on the **** they've run me through, but suffice to say I will never buy another computer from HP or any brand of computer through Best Buy. At least now it actually looks like I might get my computer back within the projected repair time . . .

Ok, it is getting fixed. I have heard that before about HP but not BB.

I have had really good luck with Dell, and my son's Gateway is behaving really well. I would recommend adding warranty on a notebook up to the number of years you will be needing to rely on it. Cheaper at purchase then adding later also.

Oh, we bought a warranty on it when we bought the computer itself . . . the trouble has been getting Best Buy to actually honor said warranty . . .

As for Apple, yeah, people tell me that a lot. The thing is, this is a *hardware* problem, not a software problem. I rarely, if ever, have software problems, and Apple doesn't have the world's greatest track record with hardware fixes either . . . sure their stuff is all readily compatible, because it's proprietary, but, at a school that is 60/40 Macs to PCs, I've heard my fair share of Apple customer service horror stories . . .

That being said, the primary reason I don't use an Apple is because I really dislike OSX. I've been using both Windows and MacOS side by side since the 3rd grade or so, and have never gotten used to MacOS . . . I almost switched when we had that bout with Windows ME (buggiest . . . operating system . . . ever), but XP and 95 have been perfectly fine so far.

Still, Apple laptops are *gorgeous*. I saw the new MacBooks and almost melted.

I had a friend of mine just by parts and build my PC. I'm not very smart when it comes to comp stuff, but I know this is the best computer I've ever used/owned. And I got it for $250. Like 1GB of ram, uhh... that's about all I know. hehe. It came with a good HD too, but I partitioned it so the operating system, programs and random bs are in different drives, incase something bugs up and I have to restore it. Bout a bigger 360gb drive too, and that's almost full now.

I've been through the build you own many times through the years. If I were going to have a desktop again I would again. I really love my notebook's ability to move with me and always be the same computer, all my stuff on it.

Bobcat, I would add 98se and 2000 to the stable Windows versions. My experience with 95 was it could be finicky with some hardware.

We never had 98 or 2000, though a friend of mine used 98 . . . I can't imagine WHY they gave us Millenium Edition instead of 2000 . . . did it come out the year before? The year after? No idea. All I know was that ME was atrocious beyond anything imaginable.

It was between 98SE and 2000. It was a guaranteed lockup, no question about it. I think they tried to add a lot of multimedia to it and it was a quick patch job.
