The Jetset
I've been listening to The Jetset for the past week. They were a 1980's London band that played original mod/beat 60's retro music. They were led by Paul Bevoir who wrote all the songs and usually played a Rick 330. They issued (5) albums and an EP. Their influences are obvious, an equal mix of the Beatles and the Monkees.
