A U K member are you Paul? Well if the 360/12 is still around, please send it my way and I'll have a go at it...This is very endearing to me, to save vintage Rickenbackers from being parted out.

hi john,dale,
yes i am a uk member the guitar was purchased from birmingham in the uk around about 1988 with serial number dl*** so i guess it was made in december of 64.i paid then about £1200.i bet its worth a lot more than that now.
it had a few accidents in its life but was very much a working guitar although in very good condition.first mishap was a cleaning lady knocked it off its stand in a rehearsal room cracking the neck.that was fixed. then if i remember correctly,i think the case must have been trod on (not by me)as one day the case was opened and it was as you see it above.
it was taken to rickenbacker where we met mr Hall( i think the picture above was taken there)who very kindly had the guitar refurbed and finished. unfortunately about a year later, another accident happened and the head got another crack. it was fixed again and then sold on in the LA area. i wish i still had it now.it was truly a beautiful guitar.

Truly amazing work Dale, my hat's off to you. Nice to see great guitars saved from the trash bin and given a second life( and in some case's 3rd and 4th life, like Paul's )

It's all even more impressive when you consider that the repair is invisible under a FG finish!Like they were never damaged at all.
Absolutely top notch work!

Can't wait to see it when finished. Same color? It will be a really complete saving, Dale. Great work.
