I like!
The whole synth era (after Moving Pictures) kind of cut my interest in half, but now things are getting better.

That's a good sounding track. Doesn't seem to be suffering from the over compression of Vapour Trails. Cool. Can't wait!!!

I was about to start a new thread when I saw this here. Image

I just heard the song "Far Cry" and I gotta say that I am so stoked! They've been my favorite band since I was a teen but they lost me a little bit after VP and Test for Echo.

I only heard one song off the new "Snakes and Arrows" album, but it grabbed me and gave me that amazing feeling that every album from their first with John Rutsey to Presto and Roll the Bones made me feel. I can't wait for May 1st! Just in time for my birthday. I haven't missed a tour since I first started listening to them and this album will be no different. Yippee!!

FYI: My band, The Madams, will be playing this Saturday, November 17th in Costa Mesa, CA @ eVocal. Message me for more details or go to our myspace page....THANKS!!

Alison: I wish I'd known that you were a big Rush fan while we were in Santa Ana for the 75th, they are probably my fave too. We could've talked for hours! I have seen them 16 times, haven't missed a tour in 26 years....lots of stories to tell. Geddy is primarily the reason I bought my 1st 4001 in 1980.

As it turns out I must have lost that album (among others apparently) in the break up with my ex.....sooooo. Yeah, if no one would like it I will GLADLY take it off your hands. I can cover shipping or buy you a beer in August if you like. Image Thanks!

Also, to those interested.....

I found out from a pretty reliable source (immediate family member to one of the 3 RUSH members) that there are tour dates and by looking at a website/forum thing I found a bunch of other dates. The majority of tentative dates were on the blog of a site called www.rushisaband.com As far as my guy, he says that they'll be in LA on the 23rd of July and Irvine, CA on the 25th. Should be accurate but who knows. I hear presale tickets might start tomorrow? Not sure though...that info didn't come from my guy so might not be so. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE CONCERTS!!!!

I just scored great tickets at the presale- Orch 2, Row C at Verizon Amph. in Virginia Beach. That's third row in the center of the stage, not sure if it's Alex's side or Geddy's. I don't live in Va. Beach but my Mom still lives in the house I grew up in. Looks like Mom's gettin a visit in June.
