Cool Clip of TP and the Heartbreakers playing "So You want to be a Rock and Roll Star". Quality is poor and cuts off but cool to hear the double Rickenbacker action and hear Mike Campbell ripping the McGuinn licks on a solidbody (660?)

Cool clip. Campbell's guitar is the same one featured on this classic cover.

Ah Ha!...I guess that would make it an original 620/12, yeah? Awesome sound.

Petty looks like he isn't moving his left hand through most of the verse and during Mike's solo. What is he playing?

Having been about four feet away from McGuinn the last time I saw him, I got a pretty close-up view of how he plays SYWTBAR&RS now. (Granted he is by himself.) The intro has the little walk-up to G and then just G and A, G and A ......

Is Petty doing some clever little maneuver that I can't see or hear?
