Thanks for the welcome, fellers.
Here's a pic ( I hope) of my '77 4001
I'll figure it out and post it over in the bass dept.

We're going to have to label our Jim's ... !!!

At one time I worked in a department of about 22, we had 9 Jim's !!

Three of the 6 of us in Engineering are Jims and I was called Jim by the comptroller for about 7 of the years I've been here; I think she figured it was safe calling me Jim as I never worked days and she had a 50% chance of getting it right! Image

Scratch me from the list, guys. I'll be going to Texas that weekend. Luckily, the Dallas Guitar Show is happening, so I can still feed my 'guitar jones'.
It's ironic that I live about 20 minutes from POTR, go there every few weeks to hang out with Chris & Darrel, but can't make it there for MARF II!
Oh well...see you guys next year!

Unbelievable.

I get back from a nice week long vacation and have an e-mail waiting for me from our new owners in Dayton. I ,along with many other managers , have to go to Dayton for training.... guess when ?Image

I don't remember walking under any ladders or breaking any mirrors recently....first SoCal and now this.....

I've already tried to get out of it , but this will affect my pocketbook in the near future, so.....I'm out.....again.

That's too bad Chris. Your 4005WB and 4004CiiTG don't have to go to Dayton too do they?

Maybe you and Scott can have a mini-MARF since you'll be in the neighborhood.

No deal. I really do have to attend this as it's about "owning" part of the business and will directly affect my Rickencash flow.

I'll take my laptop for sure....but it won't be the same.... Maybe they'll see my curled up in a corner of the meeting room , sucking my thumb and mumbling something about "marf", and let me go "home"...?
