Poor John, saving so hard for his new guitar that he has to wear raggedy ol' pants! Image

4x10 Hot Rod Deville, JB. It wouldn't necessarily have been my choice considering what we were playing but you have to use what is provided. I would have liked some chorus and tremelo but I didn't want to have any pedals to deal with other than the amp footswitch. I'll be very interested to hear how it sounded when I get the CD and DVD!

Nice to see you out gigging, Aitch! Now spend more time looking at the birds. Image

Why didn't you use your JC amp?

A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

We have to use what's provided, Jeff. With 5 bands performing over a period limited to 3 hours it's just not feasible for every band to use their own or preferred amps.

I would have been nice to use the JC, but......

I did look at the crowd a number of times but saw nothing..... the lights, man, the lights!!! Dark glasses next time......... Image

No I didn't, Jeff. I usually go on the Saturday for final qualifying but I had other things on, didn't I?? Plus the fact that the V8 Supercars weren't racing made it less appealing to me.

Sunday was 'recovery' day for me..... plenty of food, beer and couch time!! Image
