"Something About Mary"

Post by wj350 »

Guessing it's been covered here before, but I just saw it for the first time--that's a wicked Ric the "band" is using during the interludes...

He is playing a Fireglo 1997 at the start of the song but it switches to a Fakenbacker at the end when he is shot and falls into the Intercoastal Waterway.

Than he actually falls in and needed a **** guitar for the shot.
Got to start with one make it a 360/12.

I think only Ricfanatics like us would notice that he changed guitars in that scene.

There is a pickup where the bridge should be, to make it look more like a Ric.
Got to start with one make it a 360/12.

It's obvious that someone involved with the movie is a guitar enthusiast. I say this because in this day and age it's nothing for classic cars to get destroyed during the filming of a movie, and if someone involved with this movie wasn't a fan of fine guitars, that 1997 would have taken a bath.
