Lester Holt 4003DCM Rumor?

Post by ajish4 »

Ok,

First, let me say that my buddy is PROBABLY pulling my leg, but.....

He said that he watched Lester Holt this am on the TODAY SHOW, and he was playing a 75th DCM 4003 on location in California.

He didn't say much, other than the event itself. He said he had NO idea Lester Holt played bass, not to mention a RIC, and a DCM at that!

Can anyone confirm or deny?

Sounds like he's pulling a fast one on me, being he know's I'm patiently waiting "precious" to arrive...

Well, if it's true, then that's one hip broadcaster.

Hope he wasn't playing mine. Ask your friend if he thanked CME or Ed Roman...lol!

I saw them talking about that on the Today Show. Lester said he was asked to sit in with a band that was recording a song or two for a TV show (I think?) and the band was made up of some other celebrities (I think?)

This bass was discussed on the FDP a while ago. I am thinking of considering to ponder the possibility of wondering if just maybe, I might fathom whether my Cal. P Bass Special with it's GA pickguard could live with this finish. Paul? Dale?
