Looks Gibson-ish, but has the Rick sound hole and 330 body to it.

I don't see much Rickenbacker style, there. The cat's eye sound hole is by no means exclusively Rickenbacker.

I know, to me I don't see the connection. Trying to grab attention by using Rickenbacker brand name perhaps?

More likely a combination of greed and misrepresentation, as is usual.

Oh, I dunno...the body vaguely resembles a 330, I guess. Beyond that there isn't much resemblance.
