Seyes the UKs number one Yes tribute band

Post by 40014002 »

I whent to see Seyes at a recent gig on the 19/03/07 what can I say if you are a Yes fan then this band is a must to see, Seyes played all the classics from Fragile and Yessongs with a few more modern Yes numbers put in to keep you entertained, the set lasted over three hours and included a superb bass solo using a Chris Squire ltd edition Rickenbacker,Ampeg backline and bass peddles close your eyes and it could have been Chris himself this was followed by a mega keyboard solo that left the crowd spellbound all this coupled with the very talented vocals that sound like Jon and the twin neck guitar that I rebuilt for the band left me with the biggest YES grin on my face.

I wish they'd play nearer London, but I will try to catch them soon.

Hi guys,
Sorry I was a bit slow getting here.
Thanks Dave for the comments and also thanks again for all your help with the twin neck and everything.
I have put a couple of tracks on the web that we recorded at rehearsal so try the myspace first as it may be a few days before they turn up on the main website.
Theres Heart of the Sunrise which is a two track run through warts and all...excuse any errors please. And the other track is a clip from the Ancient side three of the Topographic album called Leaves of Green. Again its a pretty basic recording and part of our ongoing project to perform the whole Topographic album next year.
Still working on July Jim so I will keep you posted.
All the best catch you later.
Too many basses is an oxymoron
