A live Clip of me!
It's pretty raw (We were just picked up by two mics kind of on stage but not really, the keyboard was really down in the mix, and I sounded like I was over powering. It did not sound quite that bad live. I blew EVERY turn around, but there are some moments..... We had a talent show at church last night, so 10 minutes before it started, the mc said to me, "can you work something up?" I commandeered "a" keyboard player, and our lead guy and me. They were going to do a duet, so at least they had played some together. I had this bass line I've been fooling with but hadn't really nailed the turn around and then the guitar fellow added that walk up at the end. So, I was back and forth between his and mine, and missed 'em both. Anyways, I'd like to prove that I do play "some" but I can't edit the mp3. I have Garage Band, and Audacity. I can't figure out how to get the mp3 into GB, and Audacity is not letting me cut out a clip. The mp3 is 45 minutes, and my little ditty is about 2 minutes. Any help would be appreciated. The reason I am putting this in Basses is because I am the only Rick, and I wanted you to hear the 4004. If we could find a drummer, we could have some fun and maybe even sound half way decent after a ton of practice.

Can't you convert the clip with Audacity into a file format that GB likes, and then use GB to edit the clip? Time and space-intensive, but it might work given the tools that you have?
In cases like this I would use my MD player to record the section I want, then play it in real time into ProTools. I haven't bothered figuring out how to record in real time into GB. If you know how to do that, couldn't you use an iPod or something to play the section you want into GB, and then edit the fade-ins and -outs in GB?
