At least it is not quite the DudPit yet... Image

Hopefully this thread will come to a merciful end soon, for all of us that got tarred and stuck to it this long

Cheesewhiz - that's the LAST time I ever answer anyone's questions about Tower of Power again, if this is the next thread it could lead to....

I learned to understand the reason of the "hound for fakers" by RIC. However, I also made that point some time ago like Wouter wrote: "If a guy in a bar playing a Rickenfaker bass inspires people to play bass and they then buy the real deal then it's a win-win situation for Rickenbacker, CERTAINLY since there aren't many rickenfaker basses around."

So leave the old (well made? sorry!) Rickenfakers where they are, but please fight the new "rubbish" ones!

Really, what is all the hubbub about? Tell the owner you'll buy it from him, and give him a few of these:

Close enough, right?

This bill might be a faker too, as the man on the picture has less wrinkles than the rest of the paper. Image Even Abaraham Lincoln has more wrinkles on his bill.

Wow, this thread went south in a hurry! Differing opinions are great and welcome, one of the reasons I joined here. Insults, on the other hand, well, maybe there's a different forum for those interested in venting frustration. Go watch wrestling or something!
