The fact that the guy carried a gun around, has little to do with the fact that he is an elitist psychopath. While I sometimes carry a gun around, and fully advocate right to carry laws, this guy should never have been allowed to. Isn't it notoriously difficult for regular people to get away with carrying guns in California ? At least without legal repercussions ? How come Phil got to ? Well if he didn't have firearms to fixate on, it would have been knives or something else. I hope he gets life.
Mike I was watching CNN last night and one of the anchors jokingly put that question about LIB to the legal analyst saying he much preferred the LIB Naked. The attorney however said he didn't mind the production of LIB and wasn't aware of the Naked version.
Didn't Phil actually fire a bullet into the ceiling once at A&M Studios?
Btw, I think the big wild wig suits Phil better. Think he's getting his look from Martin Short?

The Phil/gun stories may have been exaggerated over the years. The ceiling thing was supposed to have happened making the Rock 'n Roll LP but Lennon never mentioned it. And he supposedly held the Ramones at Gunpoint a few years later. If it isn't true it sure gave journalists some colorful copy.
This is off the record

A bio pic on Spector would certainly be interesting if done well. The Ronnie and Ronnettes stuff alone (with Brian Wilson thrown in) would be good.
Bob, I started target shooting when I was kid, so my comment was less "anti-gun" and more against nut cases like Spector carrying guns around - which I believe is your point as well. My Dad was cop, and took me target shooting for the first time when I was just around 10 or 11.

hmmmm... you may be right, but somehow I doubt that we'd see another OJ scenario here. The question will be what kind of forensic evidense they have, and I suspect they have a lot.
If this were CSI they'd nail him before the first commercial.

David , I wasn't diggin on ya bro. My Dad wasn't a cop but, he took me hunting and shooting when I was around 10 also. I think if you want to be a resonsible gun owner, and parent, you should teach kids about guns at an early age. If you teach them properly it turns them into responsible gun owners and human beings. Your Dad knew this, so did mine. Bravo to our Dads. And I agree about the biography.
