It might help if we say which color we are showing. I should have thought about that before pairing the two for this week. USUALLY, Red comes with black trim (and binding), but not always. USUALLY, Ruby comes with chrome trim and white binding, but not always. In some photos, it's hard to tell what's Red and what's Ruby.

Thanks.

And last, the Odd Couple, 1989 330 Ruby and 1982 4001 Ruby::

I know, I know, they don't look alike! Kenny and Darren, who played the 330 Ruby at the 75th, will attest that it is indeed a Ruby with the metallic undercoat, even though the tint looks like Burgundy.

Nice, Jeff. Would you please send me an e-mail? I've written you, let's see, six times and posted two requests on this Forum and would like to do some business with you...

My e-mail is in my profile. It seems like my emails to you are not getting through.

Now, for something completely different...this has been posted here before, but for the record, here are my two Ruby 360WBs: an '82 six-string and a '91 twelve:

And, yes, they are really that different in color. Ruby's a basecoat/tint color, so how much red tint is applied affects the depth of the color. Both are beautiful, though. And I love the solid way that they feel.

I'll bet my mail is sorting them into Spam for some weird reason.

Anyway, thanks for replying, Jeff!

Paul B. mentioned "fire-engine red" earlier. Here is Paul W.'s Ruby 360/12 WB, when it was still mine, with some real fire engine red for comparison.

I'd be interested in larger format versions of those photos for a possible poster, Kevin. Is this possible?
