Dead Spot[s] on G String of my '89 4003

The "C" on the G string does not ring like the other notes. Any suggestions? The string are NEW.

You could try giving the truss rods a turn one way or the other.

I have just had a problem like this and the G string on the new set of strings i had put on was faulty.So i bought another set of strings and it worked,i hope you get your bass working soon.

I had some weak notes on my 77 4001 .....replaced the bridge with a Hipshot......no more problems .
More throttle...Less brakes
