It comes up for me right now, but it says AFTER you ask for the price that it apparently has been sold. You would think they would remove or suppress the listing after it is no longer available!
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, and sit in with the band whenever you can, to keep your chops up!

quick question...
As we all know, the new Rick 350v63's wont ve available until Jan '07.

Is it first come first serve?... ie: should I get my order in asap?... and can that be done through the big volume discount houses like MusiciansFriend?

According to John Hall, MF places orders far in advance, so your wait time may be less by going with MF (assuming they have that model on order). I only had to wait a month for my 325C64 even though their web site had the wait time for at least a year. If you do go with MF, call them every 6 weeks and tell then you still want the order. They are required by law to drop back orders after 60 days unless there is customer contact.

ah yes... duh... even MF offers it in Midnight Blue ... me bad.

350v63: what should I get, MG or JG? I'd convinced myself that MG was the way to go but I already have two 360's in MG and FG and a 620 in MG, so maybe JG would be my best choice for a 350v63.

decisions, decisions.

Looks great in both, but IMO if you get Mapleglo, you MUST get gold pickguards and a gold TRC. It just looks right that way.

I have black plastic on my 360 MG .... but you're right - there is something about that MG / gold combo that is really great. It may have something to do with the similarity of color between the wood and the gold.

it looks like putting a bigsby on a 350 is a tight fit, but can be done.

but will it be the same way on a 350v63?

yea, clearly there is limited room on the 350v63 for a bigsby. It can be done but it looks crowded as the above pix show and also this pix of John's 325:
