I'm no expert, but the only pieces worth salvaging here are the body wings. Right?
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

No wait you guys, this bass is salvagable!

I am not kidding you, all you need to use is construction tix and clamp it in really tightly. At the Knooren handcrafted workshop we use Construction tix to glue body pieces together, it is a much stronger glue than Titebond. Send me over those pieces and I'll restore that bass for you.

My thoughts exactly Jeff. It reminds me of that interview with Pete Townshend and in the background was a framed, smashed up Rickenbacker.

Here's about the only real use you could make of this horribly abused instrument.

Take the maple and cut and shape it to make lots of Maple blocks to use in Ted's tailpiece mod instead of the washers.
