I just remember what they sounded like on the CD or radio and play 'em

I just wish I could remember what I heard an hour ago! Image

Okay, I'm not drunk so forgive me for sounding overly serious...but you all must avail yourselves of some Richard Cheese and listen to it without delay! His "Enter Sandman" makes a mockery of...well...something that pretty well needs to be made a mockery of. And I dare not even mention the Nine Inch Nails cover...
I didn't get where I am today by being on time...

I added "Stop Start Again" by Hautewerk to the list among others this week.

Made it out to see J-Dog last night. Great to meet him!

I must have missed this thread - I didn't know what to expect. But I found I was recognizing 90% of the songs which was fun. And I thought the same thing as John B - where's the fake book? All from ear - I'm jealous!

During the first set Jason asked for requests, and of course I yelled "freebird" - he broke into in no problem.

It was almost harder to find something he didn't know that something he did. Some other requests: all honored:
Ben Haper, ABBA, BeeGee's, Theme from Cheers, Ben Folds, Theme from Peanuts, Pink Floyd, Bangles, REM, The Police, Smithereens, Lemmonheads, Toad the Wet Sproket, They might be giants, Axel F, Herbie Hancock. And a few more...!

New friends (I blame the vodka for the blurry shot!):

Why was I thinking that a piano lounge gig required a tux? Image

Thanks John! Pleasure was all mine. It was a lot of fun. I usually get about 1 or 2 requests a night, so playing 80% requests was really fun. I love Stump the Band. Or in this case, Stump the Dog!

Oh gosh, sorry man, it's pretty old. I'm in the process of moving right now so it will be a while but I'll try to find it.
