"...Cleveland....."

Thirty minutes away. Frankly, the Hall of Fame has had some great exhibits, and some really uninteresting, lackluster (to me) ones. The Who's "Tommy"? I'm there! A whole three floors of the Clash? . . . uh . . . not so much.

Considering how they wouldn't ever consider Emerson, Lake & Palmer, even if you put guns to their heads, it's funny that one of the best "artifacts" in the museum is an old beat-up Hammond with one particular key stabbed to bits, and the "ceremonial dagger" that Keith Emerson used to do it.

"That's why Rush and Yes are passed over . . ."

Rush and Yes and Genesis and King Crimson and the Moody Blues and Kraftwerk (kind of rock) and Brian Eno and Peter Gabriel and . . .

It's no surprise they inducted Pink Floyd. But I was surprised by their choice of Traffic. And Zappa for that matter.

I don't see how Earth, Wind & Fire is considered rock. Or Parliament/Funkadelic. Or Michael Jackson. Or Aretha Franklin or Marvin Gaye or Rod Stewart or the Righteous Brothers or Miles Davis. Good artists, but I would never list them as "rock" bands.

It should really be called the "Popular Music of the Last 60 Years Hall of Fame". I think that was their intent, but unfortunately they chose to use the term "Rock and Roll" which has muddied the water a bit.

Hmm...Geddy sounds like Dolly Parton, eh? Well maybe...if she got something caught in a revolving door, perhaps...

I'm pretty sure I'm the only player ever to own one of these thangs and not perform a single Rush lick on it...

...okay, maybe me and Rutherford...
I didn't get where I am today by being on time...

Great pic, Dane. You could be right on that too.
