Makers marks in Ric basses?

I suspect Ben would have been fairly young if he did the work on this bass.

Peter, That's why I mentioned it. Would be funny if he was visiting the factory that day and just MM'd his name in the bass.

Indeed, especially since he was born in 1980.

By the way, a great number of these markings have been added by owners, rather than out of the factory.
