1st RickResource Anniversary

Post by leesh »

It's just about my 1-year anniversary on this forum and I thought I'd gather everybody up for a family picture. Thanks to Peter for this incredible site and to everyone else who makes up this great community. You guys are so awesome (and you gals too Melibee and Sheena!)

Alisha, it's our pleasure to have you on board. You've built up a nice Rickenbacker collection in a short space of time, too Image

Who would have ever thought that a little over a year after joining the RickResource Forum that you would be flying over the Pacific Ocean to visit Australia? Only seven weeks to go...woohoo! Image

Wow!!! Lovely collection, Alisha..... congratulations!! Image

I echo Darren's sentiments..... who'd have thunk it?? Not sure about his timing, though..... I make it just under 6 weeks until you land on our fair shores! We're all looking forward to showing you some good old (and new) fashioned Aussie hospitality during your stay, Alisha.

We'll try not to run you ragged, though..... after all, how much can a koala bear?? Image

I'm not far over 2 years here and it's been nothing short of a life-changing experience!

Darren & Aitch, I would never in a million years have guessed that this forum would have led to a trip to Australia, meeting my Rickenbacker heroes, and meeting all of you fine individuals!

Very nice group hug there Alisha! I remember when it was just a couple.

Happy anniversary! You made me look and my 1 year is a week from today.

As you said, thanks to Peter and all who frequent this place and share our passion for everything Rick!

Mazel tov, Alisha! Nice family you got there. Don't let Aitch and Darren fool you, though. Koala Bear is really Aussie for Drop Bear. Do a google search! Never mind, I did it for you; as a friend I would never want any harm to come to you! Image
