Chip

Post by s4001 »

I just took my 4003JG out of the gigbag from my gig last saturday and I noticed a small chip by the bottom strap button. First mar on my '97 after who-knows how many gigs.

Oh well, battle scars.

No blood yet....

Sorry to hear about it's wound. It's bound to happen eventually when you gig, especially if you keep your bass in a gig bag. At least it's an inconspicuous spot on the bass and Jetglo is easy to touch up.

I feel your pain Scott. A couple of weeks ago (after 10 years), I just dinged my dead mint FG V63 on a job.

JG is the easiest to touch up if you're inclined to do so.

Just use "Goth Girl" nail polish...

I'm trying to find my digital camera so I can show some pictures of the dents in the top of my 4001. I think someone dropped it years ago before I got it.

Wanna see the back of my '76 Fender... Image Image It was near mint when I bought it. As a matter of fact, I like it better now. My Rics are in MUCH better condition but I really don't mind some battle scars, and at almost 45 years old I myself am not immaculate anymore Image

For some reason I just like all of my Rick's to be mint. I don't mind some of the others getting a few dings, but I absolutely hate when one of my Rick's has any... and I mean any damage. No matter how slight.

This thread is giving me second thoughts about taking the DCM out tonight! I like it's "character" just the way it is.
