Blue Man Group

Post by squirefan01 »

Has anybody seen these guys? I saw them in Boston today. I first saw them there about 4 years ago. We took the kids today (8 & 10) and they loved it!

They create a painting during the show, and sell it for just $30 afterwards. I could have bought it last time I saw them and kicked myself ever since. Today, we hit the merchandise stand before the show ad reserved it ahead of time. I have it here at home now and it will look great on the wall.

Musically, it's a great show. Of course, very drum oriented but great guitar & bass work. Excellent musicians. This is an experience that should not be missed!

I saw them twice at the Briar St. Theater in Chicago, probably in 2002 or so. It was a great show.

Blas Elias from the 80s hair band Slaughter is part of one of their touring groups. Yes, there is more than one.

I saw them first about 1997 in the Bowery when they first started out.

I'd love to read an interview with these guys (probably with the founders). I'll have to look for one online. I think they have probably cycled quite a few guys through the show over the years, between the Blue Men and the band.

No, haven't seen them yet but certainly want to.
Didn't know it was so musically oriented, thanks.
