Looking forward to Sunday and Thursday then, I take it Gary you thought version with SJ was better then.

Yes, i remember, Roy (albeit i had to re-listen cause it was more than 20 weeks ago). Yes, it was a very nice version, and Del did a really good job on vocals, but still i think the original was better. Never heard of Four Pennies, to be true.

Yes, I would say that SJ's vocals suited the song better than MPs

Many thanks for posting the Mp3. Fantastic to hear Mike fronting the Searchers again. Brings back happy memories. Remember this was a highlight during the shows in 70s/early 80s and it is interesting to hear they've brought it back in the set. Are there any videos/dvds/mp3s about for the 70s/early 80s era? It's great to see "When you walk in the room" from the Sire years on You Tube.

I bought this on sunday when I went to see them. I would describe it as short and sweet. It looks and sounds great to me but I feel it could have been a lot longer. A set list similar to the last live CD 'on stage' would have made it a real winner in my eyes.

For any one that has not seen them I took some photos from the Leeds concert which can be seen here.
