Congratulations, Brian. I saw some of these in production during the RIC75 celebrations and they looked superb!

If you can manage some pics when it arrives.... Image

My turn -- I got the an e-mail from Gary today! (John K & Brian T, I hope you got my e-mail, I promised you'd be first to know!) I feel like kid-in-a-candy-store-on-Christmas-Eve! I feel like flying to Wisconsin to pick it up myself! I'm feel like I'm using too many exclamation points!

Anyway, I was #10 at NCM in January, 4 behind Brian Tye, so everybody moves up at least one now. Mr. Hall, I am LOVING your reduce-the-backlog plan!

Pictures when it gets here...

Uh...gulp. I don't know what to say, Mr. Hall. You may imagine how I feel about this. At 55 years old, there has been one guitar I've wanted since the first time I saw G.H. in "Hard Days' Night" in 1964 and I was 12 years old. With all that goes on in the world, it's probably silly to get misty-eyed about seeing a dream come true, and it's ONLY a guitar, but.... it's a Rick ... it's THE Rick.

Your guitars and your company represent not just good music and an exemplary American product, but Rickenbacker also represents a part of time in our lives that was very special for a lot of reasons. I very much appreciate anything and everything you have done in getting my little piece of the dream realized.

Now I just have to find a place to put it next to its' "brothers".

Jerry, our order fulfillment person was out last Friday and everyone else was fairly overwhelmed. As a result, I, under extraordinary circumstances, took on the job of personally allocating the finished goods for that one day. Looking ahead to what I knew was coming through this week, I put together a pretty good block shipment of these to Gary, rather than have a few go out here and more a few days later. That's all.

Doesn't matter if you were just the one holding the door for the guy loading the truck. If it gets the guitar to me any quicker, I appreciate it!
