Right, but an anniversary instrument has never been made, is that correct?

Today is happy dance day for me.

I’m about to go get my DCM’s!

And of course, it comes with a story, that if not for JH may have had a different ending.

Thanks again, John!

Story to come soon with PICS!

COOL Andy,

Sounds like an neat story, are you able to share?

I just heard from my dealer last night, still no DCM shipping information received....I feel like one of the last kids picked on a team during a school gym game! Image

It's funny, when we heard that the basses were shipping, I thought I'd have one of the two ordered in plenty of time to unveil one at MARF.

Right now, it looks like I'll be lucky if I just get one at all.

Thanks Greg,

I'm sure it will be here soon enough.

My patience has always been rewarded while I've been waiting for a RIC. I benefited from the walnut wings and the vintage tone switch being added to my Monty, the new neck profile & the re-positioned side dots on the FL I have on order, who knows, I just might make out with a new neck profile & some other goodie like a SWEET figured wood on the neck wood....who knows....I just would like to get her here safe and sound.

Hang in there Marc61, JH said there were a few "stragglers" yet to ship. I happen to fall into that category, but I figure it will be that much sweeter when that "magical day" arrives. At least that's what I tell myself.
Our day WILL come!

Dave, My problem may not be stragglers, my problem may be unscrupulous dealers watching Ebay action ,and coming up with stories why they can't deliver.
