I just saw this story and edited it a bit more to mention all the other CNC's we have. We've actually ordered more machines since the time this story was written last year.

It might have been interesting to have mentioned that Arielle, our CNC engineer, is Ben's wife.

Man oh man,

THEY must really drive up the electric bill!

6+ tons EACH, all running at the same time.

I'd like to see the metal one mentioned in the news. THAT must be one very cool machine to watch work. Is that one of those high pressure water jet cutters, or will it be an actual bit?

John said machining up for the 4005 would be expensive.

...those look expensive.

With those babies, the backlog should soon be a thing of the past!

John, could you give us a little hint, what is the FIRST thing you're going to do when the backlog is all but a memory? RIC related, of course!

Probably take a well-deserved VACATION!! :D

I could see the 4004 line being digitized first, if that is not already done.

And there's nothing like Girl Power! Go Arielle!! I've always challenged my 2 daughters to persue whatever they desire and not be gender-limited. I think it is great!

I would guess they would digitize everything that wasn't already. These are pretty amazing upgrades, I think.
